Geography Curriculum

The West London Free School’s geography curriculum is designed to give pupils a broad and varied understanding of the subject, with equal coverage of the subject’s human and physical topics. The content broadly follows the national curriculum published in 2015, and uses country case studies as illustrations to give pupils context for the knowledge they are gaining. Core geographical terminology and facts are taught from the beginning of Year 7. This ensures that pupils are well prepared to tackle the more challenging content in GCSE and A-level, and also that they are fully equipped to contribute to the ever-changing geographical debates which will help shape the future of our planet.
