ABOUT THE COURSE

Music Technology is a course for Students who would like to peruse a career in Music Production. The Music technology course is broken up into 4 units that cover the full spectrum of basic/intermediate skills needed to progress to a higher level of study or to working one of the many areas of music production.

 Students will study a range of skill relating to Music production, including: recording, editing, mixing, sampling, synthesis, and MIDI sequencing. Students will also be equipped with the knowledge and understanding of how to evaluate different production techniques, and pieces of music within their historical context. Finally, students will be competent in completing the production tasks of a given brief, and the relative information provided to evaluate the impact of those settings on the sound.
