2026 GCSE Results

Pupils achieved a brilliant set of GCSE results at the WLFS this year. Overall, 57% of entries were graded 9 to 7, and 88% were graded 9 to 4. Out of all exams taken, a Grade 9 was the most common result, comprising 22% of results.

These GCSE results will place us amongst the top state comprehensive schools in the country, and above a large number of selective schools. This is an enormous achievement for our pupils, and a testament to the exemplary efforts of our staff to teach, guide and care for them over the past five years.

Amongst our 133 pupils taking GCSEs at the WLFS this year:

· 57% of all grades were awarded at a Grade 7 to 9

· 82% of all grades were awarded at a Grade 5 to 9

· 88% of all grades were awarded at a Grade 4 to 9

· 82% of pupils achieved a pass (Grade 4+) in both English and Maths

· 71% of pupils achieved the academically demanding EBacc qualification, which requires a GCSE pass in English, Maths, Sciences, history or geography, and a foreign language.

· We are predicting that the WLFS will achieve an Attainment 8 Score of around 6.3 (the average of pupils best-eight, core GCSEs grades).
