Co-Curricular
A rich and extensive co-curricular programme, is core to the ethos of the West London Free School. The programme includes after school clubs, careers guidance, university outreach and other areas of support.
The aim is for children to participate in confidence and character building pursuits that develop them outside the classroom as well as in. There is no financial barrier to participation as all activities (with the exception of a few where we operate a co-pay model) are delivered without charge.
See our clubs page for the activities on offer this term.
Pupils sign up for clubs on a termly basis.
We are able to offer these activities at no charge because the programme is funded by our charity, the Knowledge Schools Foundation Trust. This model of enabling ALL students to participate, regardless of their means, is core to our ethos. To make it work, we ask parents to make a regular voluntary donation to the charity.
Our suggested monthly donation is £35 but any other amount is gratefully received. We recognise that not all parents are able to donate, but if you can, please do. The easiest way to donate is to set up a standing order with your bank. Standing order forms are available here. If you are a UK tax payer, please also complete the gift aid form.
